This award acknowledges our unwavering commitment to advancing the Population and Development (POPDEV) Agenda and our continuous effort in crafting responsive and impactful local policies, awarded last November 11 at Grand Regal Hotel.
Proudly bring honor also to our municipality as we received the awards during the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week 2025 celebration of the Province of Davao de Oro.
Under the theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay Pinapahalagahan, Droga ay Inaayawan,” our municipality showcased not only talent, but unity, discipline, and strong advocacy towards a drug-free community.
On the other hand LGU Maco emerged as CHAMPION in the Battle of the Beats: The Grand Hip-hop Showdown, a competition that highlighted youth creativity and positive expression through dance and music, last November 21 , 2025 at Provincial Capitol of Davao de Oro.
Lastly the only municipality in region XI that had prompt compliance of the requirement for the MOA signing of the Señior Citizens Community Care Center SC3C NCSC 11 PET Project together with the 2 big cities in the region- Davao City and Island Garden City of Samal.
