18-Day Campaign to End Violence Againste Women (VAW)
November 25- December 12, 2025
Every year, as the nation observes the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, LGU Maco pauses—not in silence, but in purpose.
For 2025, LGU Maco, through the Municipal Gender and Development Resource and Coordinating Office (MGADRCO), stands with every woman, every girl, and every survivor whose story deserves to be heard, protected, and honored.
This campaign reminds us of a simple truth:
A community becomes stronger when everyone feels safe.
In Maco, we believe ending VAW is not the work of one office alone.
It is a story we write together:
- Our youth are stepping forward as voices of change.
- Our men are choosing to become allies, not bystanders.
- Our community members are learning to speak up, reach out, and respond.
- Our local leaders, guided by Mayor Arthur Carlos Voltaire R. Rimando, are pushing for systems that protect, empower, and uplift.
This is more than a campaign—it is our promise.
A promise that in Maco, every woman matters. Every child matters. Their safety matters.
As we walk through these 18 days, may we continue to move as one community, one Maco, one voice, united for a VAW-free future.
