In line with ensuring compliance with existing price regulations and protecting consumer welfare, the Municipal Price Coordinating Council of the Municipality of Maco, Davao de Oro (MPCC) scheduled a Fuel Retail Station Monitoring and Inspection today March 30, 2026 at 1:00 PM
In Support of the Government’s efforts and consistent with relevant policies, all Local Chief Executives are highly encouraged to be guided in the following mitigating measures to help enforce efforts to address the adverse effects of rising oil prices:
A. Reactivation of Local Price Coordinating Councils (DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2018-128)
The Local Price Coordinating Councils (LPCCs) shall regularly monitor prevailing fuel prices and supply levels within their respective jurisdictions, coordinate with concerned national government agencies, and immediately report any incidents of hoarding, profiteering, or exorbitant, excessive, and unreasonable increases in fuel prices.
The activity aims to monitor fuel prices, check calibration of dispensing pumps, and ensure that all fuel retail stations adhere to the prescribed standards and regulations set by the Department of Energy. The effort headed by our very own Municipal
Kuya Mayor Volter Rimando , together with the SB Members, Offices Concerned and the members of Municipal Price Coordinating Council aims to protect all Macoeños and ensuring that despite recent challenges we aim for Serbisyo Sigurado!
