In a bid to prepare senior high school learners for the real-world workplace, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Maco proudly welcomed four senior high school students for their work immersion program. This initiative gives students the unique opportunity to gain practical experience, apply their skills, and understand the inner workings of a government office.
The students are assigned at the GAD Office, where they will assist in office operations, participate in program activities, and experience workplace responsibilities firsthand. By simulating real employment scenarios, learners are able to connect classroom learning with actual work practices, strengthening their competencies in preparation for future careers.
Designed with a gender-responsive and inclusive approach, the immersion program ensures that all learners have equal opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow, reflecting the GAD Office’s commitment to empowering youth and promoting inclusivity in all programs.
Through this collaboration, the GAD Office continues to bridge education and practice, nurturing a new generation of skilled, confident, and socially responsible professionals ready to take on the challenges of the future.
