In solidarity with the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), PNP Maco, together with our dedicated partners, led a meaningful VAWC Orientation for the committed members of MOVE (Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere) at the GAD and Women Conference Hall.
Guided by this year’s theme, “United for a VAW-Free Philippines,” the session emphasized the powerful role of men in shaping a community where respect, protection, and equality for women are non-negotiable. Participants were equipped with deeper knowledge on VAWC laws, essential reporting mechanisms, and the shared responsibility of becoming advocates for safer homes and safer barangays.
This activity reaffirms PNP Maco’s unwavering commitment to gender-responsive policing and our continuing partnership with community champions who stand firm in defending the rights and dignity of women and children. Through the united efforts of our PNP personnel and MOVE members, we strengthen our collective promise to break the cycle of violence and build a community where every woman feels safe, valued, and protected.
United for a VAW-Free Philippines!
